About Us

Lisa Polese has been a resident of Elwood for 20 years.  Throughout her time in Elwood, Lisa has served as a volunteer through the  district’s PTA organizations and her current position as President of the Elwood Booster Club. Lisa's ability to creatively solve problems while bringing together and collaborating successfully with multiple organizations has enhanced student learning in all four buildings.  Lisa is passionate about elevating  educational opportunities, fostering growth and enriching the experiences of all  students in the community. 

Sabrina Bickoff has been a resident of the Elwood community for nine years. Sabrina spent 12 years teaching before choosing to stay home to raise her four children.  Sabrina has also become an active participant within the Elwood community. She has been an active volunteer through the district's PTA organizations and is currently in her second year as President of the Harley Avenue PTA.  Throughout her years of involvement, Sabrina has organized and led numerous events for various grade levels and helped coordinate several successful fundraising initiatives. The money raised has been used to enhance educational opportunities for students in the Elwood community. 

Jessica Bletsch is in her 25th year teaching elementary band.  She graduated from John Glenn High School in the Elwood School district. Jessica has been a very active PTA member in the Elwood School district since her three children entered the district. She started as PTA Treasurer for 2 years at Harley, then 2 more as Secretary. She moved onto a 2-year term as Secretary of the Elwood Middle School PTA and has been the Elwood Booster Club Treasurer for the past 2 years.

Trisha Johnston has lived in Elwood all her life and worked as a Software Developer for over a decade. After having her child, she left the tech world to be a stay-at-home mom so that she could be involved in her son's educational experience as much as possible. It means even more to her being such an active part of the Elwood community as she attended Harley, Boyd, EMS and graduated from John Glenn HS. Volunteering with the PTA has allowed her to get to know many students, faculty and parents over the years. She is currently in her second year as Co-President of Boyd PTA.  She is looking forward to volunteering her time to Elwood Booster Club to enhance the educational experience for all of our current and future students.
